Slowly Falling

Walking, strolling, head’s up in hoping,
That these nights would change,
From just wishful thinking.

Crawling, racing, whatever time we’re facing,
Wishing you’d come around,
And stop me from chasing.

Searching, reaching, for a feeling I believe in,
Distance miles apart,
From the one that I’m missing.

Driving, vibing, under night lights we’ll be riding,
A soul to call my home,
An angel that I can confide in.

Soaring, flying, like birds we’ll be high in,
Cloud nine of our dreams, with just me,
And all of your being.
